An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Training Administrator to join our Learning & Organisational department.

What to expect:

£25,000 Mon- Fri-09.00am-05.30pm

You will be based at Abbot Care Centre in Harlow, Essex;the role will also include occasional travel to other homes and Head office as required. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the e-learning/learning management systems platform. Responding to queries and requests on a daily basis regarding the learning management system. 
  • To plan and organise the L&OD annual development calendar
  • Running training reports for statutory and mandatory training. Displaying these in different types of format for presentation to Head of L&OD.
  • Support with the administration of the apprenticeship levy. The apprenticeship levy requires a log-in, learners to be uploaded and approved against the provider and reports sent to the Skills Fund Agency.
  • Source cost effective and value for money external training on request, e.g. Clinical training, Registered Nurse accountability and Health & Safety.
  • Co-ordinating and facilitating of all Head Office and corporate level training
  • To identify any training and development gaps across the Excelcare group and propose solutions and monitor through to compliance.
  • Collating feedback from training sessions carried out, analysing and reporting the information.
  • Monitor and report to Manager any trends and areas of high risk/non-compliance.
  • Assist in the development of bespoke e-learning modules.

We are looking for:

  • Strong experience in administration and organisation in a similar role.
  • Able to work independently and consider the wider picture in terms of the aims and goals of the department and business as a whole.
  • Intermediate use of Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Excellent People skills and a good communicator
  • Positive and passionate approach to training
  • Able to motivate others, with A ‘can do’ attitude
  • Positive and passionate approach to training
  • Excellent organisational skills and problem solving
  • Experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting data to a wide range of audiences is also a necessity to make it meaningful to the audience.
  • Analysis and reporting skills to include experience of interpreting and drawing out key risks.
  • Understanding of CQC regulations (or similar regulated environment)
  • Creativity, flexibility and openness to challenge.
