PR & Social Media Officer – BROMLEY, LONDON

We are looking for a PR & Social Media Officer to work in our Head Office in Bromley, London.

£22,000 to £24,000 per annum.

Hours – 9:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday - Full time.

Main Accountability

We are looking for a bold and creative individual to join our PR & Marketing team who can help us to take our social media strategy and content to new and interesting places. This role will require you to strategically identify and post engaging content for our website and social media feeds which will promote our group and brand awareness. You will interact with our communities on these platforms to increase engagement, followers and the quality of their experience, identifying key influencers and conversations where we can engage to better showcase our work and expand our reach. You will have experience in reading insights and analytics data and using it to influence social media communications strategies and organisational direction.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and drafting SEO effective PR stories in line with company policy and GDPR guidelines, sharing these regularly to all social media outlets.
  • Regularly post and schedule content on the Excelcare group’s social media feeds.
  • Work with key individuals at each of our locations to ensure that all content on our social media feeds aligns with organisational, and specific project strategies.
  • Producing effective internal communications around news and activities
  • Moderate and respond to comments and interact with followers to best develop our online communities.
  • Produce regular reports on social media performance.
  • Use Google Analytics (or similar) to produce reports on referrals to the company website and conversions attributable to social content.
  • Advise colleagues and help them to develop content strategies based on previous performance reports and audience insight.
  • Develop social media strategies to expand our reach and impact through social media channels.
  • Identify key social influencers who we can engage with.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of developments, innovations, and new tech in social media and identify any that may be of benefit/interest to Excelcare.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

  • Able to demonstrate your success at managing a Facebook page and online blog for a professional organisation.
  • Able to demonstrate your success at creating and delivering social media strategies for specific projects which increased audience engagement or conversion.
  • Able to show your experience at producing regular reports using Facebook Insights, Google Analytics or similar tools.
  • Comfortable at ensuring that social media content remains within brand guidelines.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends/developments in social media communications.
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and respond flexibly.
  • Able to liaise with, instruct and build relations with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to communications challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Drive, competence, flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • The ability to cope with pressure.
  • Creativity, imagination and initiative.
