Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Park Avenue care home have an exciting opportunity for a strong, driven Nursing Home Manager with a proven track record to join our team. 

Reporting to the Regional Director, The Home Manager will be responsible for the nursing and care of the people living within our homes. The successful candidate will monitor performance of all staff, ensuring standards are not only  maintained but exceeded.  You will also be responsible for marketing the home within the local community, maximising occupancy, managing budgets, payroll and rotas.

You will have a team of nurses and Unit Leads to work with you plus added support from Clinical and Quality, Learning and Development, Recruitment and Human Resources teams throughout the organisation.

The Home Manager's role enables you to inspire your teams and make a difference to people’s lives every day. If you have the leadership skills and confidence to make safe judgement, have good organisation and planning skills and get the best out of your staff team then we would like to hear from you.

Requirements:

Strong managerial or supervisory experience

Comprehensive knowledge of budgets and maximising incomes

Someone who is understanding and passionate about individual and person-centred care for older people.

CQC recognised care management qualification - Level 5 or equivalent.

Nurse qualification

Proven track record in a care home environment.

Ability to delegate, problem solve and prioritise workloads on a daily basis
