Salary: 9.72 to 10.95 depending on experience plus bank holiday enhancements.

We are looking for Nights Senior Care Assistant/ Team Leader to join the Excelcare family at our Rheola Care Home in St Ives.

What you can expect:

From £9.72 p/h to £10.95 p/h depending on experience plus weekend enhancments

Main Accountabilities

To actively promote the independence of the homes residents, by assessing and implementing appropriate levels of care required by the homes residents while supervising the effective care of all residents by carers through working alongside them and assessing and managing their performance. Maintain effective communication with the Unit Manager/Registered Nurse/ Home Manager by reporting appropriate information as necessary in a timely manner.

What you will need:

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.

As a Team Leader you’ll have a desire to work in elderly and dementia care. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be empathic, non-judgmental and person-centred in your approach to people.
