Location:             St George’s Court – Russell Street, Cambridge CB2 1HT

Salary:                  £50-£55,000 per annum, dependent on experience

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking to recruit a strong, driven Home Manager with a proven track record to manage a 76 bedded nursing home in the centre of Cambridge.

The ideal candidate should be compassionate, dedicated to delivering excellent quality individual care and have the ability to run a large smooth service for all the people living at the home.

You will also need to have excellent business acumen as the role involves promoting the home to individuals or families considering the care home as the next step for themselves or a loved one.

The Home Manager’s role enables you to inspire and make a different to people’s lives every day – if you have the leadership skills and confidence to make safe judgements, have good organisation and planning skills and get the best out of your staff team then we would like to hear from you.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A strong managerial or supervisory background with comprehensive knowledge of budgets and maximising income
  • Someone who is understanding and passionate about individual and person-centred care for older people
  • A CQC recognised care management qualification – Level 5 or equivalent
  • A proven track record in a care home environment
  • The ability to delegate, problem solve and prioritise workloads on a daily basis
