The Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager which is a new role for us to grow and embed the business opportunities for Excelcare Holdings.  The Business Development Manager role involves taking on a new business area and will embed new high-profile contracts as well as supporting the business growth 

This successful candidate will work very closely with key colleagues on the implementation of all new business and will be expected to have the following experience and skills: 

  • Establish partnerships and pilot programs with councils, CCGs, hospitals, commissioners and non-profit organisations in the field of social and nursing care to build our Client base
  • Analyse demographics, market competition, commissioning objectives, demand profile and best practice service modelling
  • Explore and establish marketing opportunities with our Marketing team, to reach people eligible for our services
  • Establish local community relationships
  • Prepare business cases in order for decisions to be made about pursuing bid/ tender opportunities.
  • Manage the bid process in response to tender opportunities ensuring all internal due process is adhered to and that all bids have a robust bid management plan
  • Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with key external stakeholders including relevant commissioning authorities, NHS partnerships, GPs, development partners and customers
  • Be a Brand Ambassador for Excelcare
